By now you have most likely heard of the challenges the entire domestic fireworks industry is facing. If you have missed our monthly updates, social media posts or videos from many other US fireworks companies, we have done our best to explain it again below.

The USA consumer fireworks industry had a record year for sales in 2020. As a result, many consumer fireworks companies sold out of inventory. The remainder of the consumer fireworks companies had minimal and limited inventory left to sell after July 4th, 2020. This led to massive orders for consumer fireworks from the USA which have maxed out the production capacity of Chinese fireworks factories

Due to COVID-19, the demand from USA importers across all business sectors has also reached an all-time high. This in turn has led to logistical problems in China and the USA which have caused delays and increased freight costs. In the case of consumer fireworks, less fireworks containers are being shipped on a weekly basis and freight costs have been increased 60% per container. In addition, logistical problems such as a lack of empty containers to load, limited sailings of container ships and port congestion in the United States are still delaying deliveries to all USA fireworks companies. We are still working with our vendors, factories, and freight companies daily to track production and shipments.

In addition to the logistical delays, there is a shortage of black powder and lift charge powder. These two shortages will result in limited consumer fireworks production for 2021. It is currently estimated that only 65% - 75% of the United States 2021 consumer fireworks total market order will arrive in time for the July 4th holiday.

These Circumstances have dictated some adjustments be made to our standard Early Bird Discount Structure. Even though the discount structure has changed, you are still encouraged to order early if you want to purchase product this year.

Only items marked in stock and that have a definite ETA date will be available for pre-order. Any item marked TBD will NOT be available for pre-order. We have containers continuously leaving China throughout March, April and May. As these vessels depart China, TBD items will be updated with ETA's. There will be some items that we cannot guarantee arrival before July 4, 2021 therefore these items will not be available.
