Diamond Sky 6/1

Good value. Great big breaks with excellent strobing effect. They won't be a centerpiece cake but they will fill the sky under a NOAB or the new 10 shot 2" Shogun strobing cakes.

I too bought a case of this last year. It is not a big cake, but holds its own. Nice effect for a great price.

Pyro Planet doesn't have a huge product line (hopefully that will change after a few years), but they make some great products and this cake is definitely one of them. While Diamond Sky might be more accurately viewed as a 350 gram cake, that doesn't deter from the fact that it performs very well. It has some pretty powerful breaks and the glittering strobe effect is some of the best that I've seen for a cake of its size (seriously, the video doesn't do it justice, you need to see it in person!). Even though it has brocades, the glittering strobes stand out more in this cake. If you want a good alternative to Daisy diamonds, this is probably the best one when you factor in its performance and what you'll pay. You get 6 in a case and if you can get the 40% Early Bird discount, you'll only pay $53.72 for all 6 cakes ($8.95 for each cake) as opposed to $36 for a case of Daisy Diamonds (and you only get 2 cakes in that case, so you're paying $18 for each of them).

Don't get me wrong, Daisy Diamonds is a great strobe cake (it's very similar to Dominator's Mammoth Strobe cake) and it's a little more powerful with bigger breaks, but if you want more glittering bang for your buck, get a case of Diamond Sky.
