If you have an order placed and paid for they are available for pickup by appointment only. Wholesale Fireworks will be strongly adhering to all social distancing requirements.

Per the governor's order, Wholesale Fireworks staff will be required to wear face coverings at all times and strongly recommends customers do the same.

Also, per the governor’s reopening orders, Wholesale Fireworks Hubbard showroom is open from, 9am-4pm. Once again, Wholesale Fireworks staff will be required to wear face coverings at all times and strongly recommends customers do the same. All showrooms will adhere to all social distancing, cleanliness and sanitation requirements and recommendations. Per the governor’s order, Wholesale Fireworks also reserves the right to limit the amount of occupants per party to ensure the safety of our staff.

Customers are strongly encouraged to NOT enter any of our showrooms if showing any of the COVID-19 symptoms listed by the Center of Disease Control (CDC). Please check our website for updates as these dates approach.

PRODUCTION - SHIPPING - SHORTAGES

The USA consumer fireworks industry had a record year for sales in 2020. As a result, many consumer fireworks companies sold out of inventory. The remainder of the consumer fireworks companies had minimal and limited inventory left to sell after July 4th, 2020. This led to massive orders for consumer fireworks from the USA which have maxed out the production capacity of Chinese fireworks factories.

Due to COVID-19, the demand from USA importers across all business sectors has also reached an all-time high. This in turn has led to logistical problems in China and the USA which have caused delays and increased freight cost. In the case of consumer fireworks, less fireworks containers are being shipped on a weekly basis and freight costs have been increased 60% per container. In addition, logistical problems such as a lack of empty containers to load, limited sailings of container ships and port congestion in the United States are still delaying deliveries to all USA fireworks companies.

We are still working with our vendors, factories and freight companies daily to track production and shipments. Production in China was running at full speed leading up to Chinese New Year and consumer fireworks warehouses in China are filled with stock for the USA market waiting to be shipped. The new challenges we face are a two-week fireworks production shut down due to the annual political meetings in China starting on March 4th. This shut down has caused factories to decide not to re-open for the few weeks between Chinese New Year and this Government shut down. With the factories closed they cannot resume production and may fall behind. These delays combined with the shipping delays will push back product arrival dates in the US by a minimum of 30 days.

In addition to the production delays, there is now a shortage of black powder and lift charge powder that will limit what the factories can produce. The supply of black powder cannot keep up with the demand from the factories.

All these factors indicate that there will be a shortage of product for the 2021 July 4th fireworks season and that a high percentage of product will be arriving later than usual.

EARLY BIRD GETS THE BOOM!

The good news is we will be publishing the new 2021 price list and allowing pre orders on certain items beginning on March 17th.

We will also still have an EARLY BIRD SPECIAL. The circumstances this year have dictated some adjustments to our standard Early Bird discount structure. This year's Early Bird will be limited to a one-time discount period, and some items will NOT be available for pre order.

When the new 2021 price list is published, the only items that will be available for orders will be items that are in stock, and items that have a definite ETA date. There will be some items that we cannot guarantee arrival before the fourth of July so they will not be available as a pre order item. In addition to the limited product availability, the early bird discount will have slightly higher minimums.

TBD - To Be Determined.... The new 2021 price list will contain ETA's (estimated time of arrival) for items that are not in stock, but have shipped from China, and we anticipate that item to arrive on or around that date.

Any item with an ETA of TBD, indicates we are waiting on a production/shipping status on that item and we do not know if it will be arriving in time for the 4th.

ALL ITEMS WITH THE ETA OF TBD WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO PRE ORDER ON ANY ORDER.

This is a fluid situation, and we appreciate your patience and understanding. We encourage you to buy early and save.
